LEICESTER CITY v BURNLEY King Power Stadium, Saturday, 12.15pmVerdict: Two defeats in the space of five days saw City suffer back-to-back losses for the first time this season as they slipped down to third in the Championship. Burnley moved top despite picking up only their first win in six in the league. City have lost just once at home all season and will be out to prove a point as they go into their toughest run of fixtures so far. They might have to head into the game in somewhat unchartered territory though if Wes Morgan is too unwell to play. City's defensive prospects against on-fire pairing of Danny Ings and Sam Vokes could hinge on this. I'm backing City though, at home, to stop the rot.Prediction: 2-1
BARNSLEY v YEOVIL Oakwell, Saturday, 3pmVerdict: Barnsley would have counted themselves a tad unfortunate not to have got anything out of their game with Burnley last weekend but, as it is, they remain at the foot of the table. Yeovil are also in the relegation zone but are unbeaten in three with two wins and draw to their name. Barnsley have struggled at home this season but, by the same token, Yeovil have toiled on the road. It should be a tight one.Prediction: 1-1
BLACKBURN v MILLWALL Ewood Park, Saturday, 3pmVerdict: Mid-table Blackburn are one of the most inconsistent sides in the division. Having said that, they have lost just twice at home all season and have kept a clean sheet in five of their last six home games. Millwall, meanwhile, have won just once away all season. If Jordan Rhodes can find his shooting boots again it should be a comfortable home win.Prediction: 2-0
BLACKPOOL v QPR Bloomfield Road, Saturday, 3pmVerdict: Blackpool's discipline is becoming a real problem for Paul Ince as his already small squad depletes at a startling rate. An astonishing five red cards in their last two games is not the best way to prepare for the visit of QPR. Harry Redknapp's side have not won any of their last five away games but this is a perfect opportunity to change that against the self-destructing Pool.Prediction: 0-2
BOURNEMOUTH v BIRMINGHAM Dean Court, Saturday, 3pmVerdict: Bournemouth picked up the surprise result of the weekend last time out with a well-earned 2-1 victory at Reading. However, they are struggling at home at the moment with two defeats and a draw in their last three. Blues, meanwhile, are undefeated in their last five with back-to-back wins on the road. I fancy Lee Clark's side to edge it.Prediction: 1-2
CHARLTON v DERBY The Valley, Saturday, 3pmVerdict: Can anyone stop the raging Rams? Five wins on the bounce and Steve McClaren's side are into fourth, just four points behind City. They dispatched nine-man Blackpool last weekend and now face a Charlton side without captain Johnnie Jackson and who have won just one of their last seven games. They will be licking their lips.Prediction: 0-2
DONCASTER v LEEDS Keepmoat Stadium, Saturday, 3pmVerdict: Leeds are one of the Championship's form sides and it was only a late Troy Deeney goal – City fans know enough about them – that denied them a fifth victory in six. However, their form on the road is less than impressive, having lost five of their last six away games. But Leeds have had the Indian sign over Doncaster in recent times – they have won all of the last five meetings. Paul Dickov's side have one of the leakiest defences in the division – not something you want to have when Ross McCormack is in the form of his life.Prediction: 1-2
HUDDERSFIELD v READING John Smith's Stadium, Saturday, 3pmVerdict: Both sides' good run of form came to an end last week as Huddersfield lost at Ipswich and Reading suffered a shock home defeat to out-of-sorts Bournemouth. Reading still sit inside the play-off places while Huddersfield are making a real charge at the top six – they are 11th but are just five points off the top six. In James Vaughan, Huddersfield have one of the most clinical strikers in the division while Reading still have Premier League quality among their ranks. This could be a belter and I think it will be tight.Prediction: 2-2
MIDDLESBROUGH v BRIGHTON Riverside Stadium, Saturday, 3pmVerdict: Brighton were the first team I've seen this season genuinely outplay City when they beat Nigel Pearson's men last week. Brighton pressed brilliantly when not in possession and then, once they'd won the ball, broke at lightning speed and were clinical in front of goal. Boro have been mightily inconsistent on the whole but at home they have not lost in the league since the first game of the season. But they will need to be at their best to deny Oscar Garcia's side and I don't think they'll manage it.Prediction: 1-2
NOTTINGHAM FOREST v IPSWICH City Ground, Saturday, 3pmVerdict: Forest's narrow win away at Sheffield Wednesday last weekend put an end to a run of just one win in seven for Billy Davies' side. Forest are anything but convincing yet off-the-field incidents seem to be shifting attention away from any inconsistencies on the pitch. Ipswich, meanwhile, are enjoying their best form of the season with three straight wins and four in their last five. The City Ground is always a tough place to go but I think Mick McCarthy's men have enough to get something from the game.Prediction: 1-1
WATFORD v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY Vicarage Road, Saturday, 3pmVerdict: Watford really are suffering and are without a win in their last seven games with four defeats on the spin at home. It was only Troy Deeney's late strike last weekend that stopped them losing a fifth game in that time. Managerless Wednesday aren't faring much better – their victory over City is sandwiched between four defeats. They still haven't won away all season. With Watford scoring three goals last time out, it surely should give them enough of a boost to be able to edge it.Prediction: 1-0
WIGAN v BOLTON DW Stadium, Sunday, 3pmVerdict: Before a ball was kicked, these two sides promised so much but have, ultimately, delivered so very little so far this season. Wigan have lost their last six games in all competitions, four of those in the Championship, and have slipped down to 14th. Uwe Rosler's first league game in charge of the Latics comes against a Bolton side just one place below them in the table. Dougie Freedman's men are starting to show some promising signs though. They have won three of their last four on the road, despite last week's defeat at Boro. Could be another close one.Prediction: 1-1
