Police have appealed for help tracing the owner of a dog which bit a woman.
The woman was injured while she was walking her dog in Eyres Monsell, Leicester.
A white Staffordshire Bull Terrier approached the woman and her dog.
The woman injured her leg when she fell and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier bit her arm. She was treated for her injuries at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
The incident happened at 5.45pm on Tuesday, November 26 in Caversham Road.
Pc Duncan Tebbatt said today: "We've been carrying out inquiries locally to identify the dog responsible and are now calling upon anyone who believes they may know who the owners are to contact the police.
"It is believed the owner of the dog was also close by and pulled the dog away but didn't leave their details.
"If you were out walking your dog on Tuesday November 26 and were approached by a similar dog please contact us. Any calls received will be treated in confidence."
