A cyclist was punched in the neck while walking along a city footpath.
The victim was pushing his bike along a footpath between Krefeld Way and Amadis Road in Beaumont Leys, Leicester, when he was abused and then punched once, causing injuries to his neck.
The incident happened at around 9.45am on Sunday, November 3.
The suspect is described as white, in his 30s or 40s, around 5ft 9in, of stocky build with short, dark hair.
He had a local accent, a square face with protruding cheeks and was described by the victim has having "piercing eyes".
He was wearing a khaki top with pale blue short sleeves underneath and was carrying a bag over his shoulder.
