Police investigating an assault which left a man with head injuries today released CCTV of two men they want to question.
The 27-year-old victim was attacked in St Nicholas Place, Leicester city centre, shortly after 6am on Sunday, April 21.
He was approached by two men near the Subway takeaway and Mosh nightclub.
Both men punched the victim and he fell unconscious to the ground.
The victim was treated at Leicester Royal Infirmary for head injuries.
Pc Jefferson Pritchard said: "I would appeal for people to take a moment to look at these two images and see if you recognise the men.
"Do they live near you? Do they drink at your local? Is it you?
"We believe they could have information which will help with the inquiry and I would ask anyone who thinks they know who they are to contact us as soon as possible."
