A woman was taken to hospital after she was struck in the face with a glass during an argument in a bar.
The woman was injured shortly after 3am in Sophbeck, King Street, Leicester city centre on Saturday.
Detectives today released a CCTV picture of a woman they want to speak to.
Officers believe the injured woman has been involved in an argument with two other women.
One person has been arrested in connection with the incident and has received a police caution.
Pc Steve Kilsby said: "The incident only happened at the weekend so we are really hopeful that people will remember what happened and get in touch.
"If you were in Sophbeck on Friday night into the early hours of Saturday morning you may have witnessed the altercation or seen the woman in the image.
"If so we would urge you to call us and help us with our investigation."
