People from Melton Mowbray and further afield flocked to Pera Conference Centre on Saturday with their antiques, to take part in the filming of the ITV show Dickinson's Real Deal - and the chance to walk away with hundreds of pounds in cash.
Visitors brought along their antiques for valuation - and if selected for filming - had the chance to accept or reject a cash offer from a professional dealer. David Dickinson was on hand throughout the day to offer advice to sellers, who could also choose to send their antiques to auction instead.

The auction itself will take place on Wednesday 3 April 2013 at Golding, Young and Mawer auction house in Grantham. The recording in Melton Mowbray will be used as part of a series of 80 programmes to be broadcast on ITV throughout 2013 and 2014; with footage from the day used for up to four separate shows.

If you missed the day, then Dickinson's Real Deal is filming again in Leicestershire on Saturday 16 February 2013 at Loughborough College.
