Flood warnings are no longer in place in Leicestershire but four roads remain closed due to flooding.
The following roads remain closed in both directions:
- Syston Road, in Cossington, both ways at Cossington Mill.
- Slash Lane, in Sileby, both ways between Sileby Road and Mountsorrel Lane.
- Sileby Road, in Sileby, both ways between Barrow Road and Slash Lane.
- Granite Way, in Mountsorrel, both ways between A6 and Leicester Road.
Flood alerts are still in place for the River Wreake and tributaries from Stapleford to the River Soar at Syston and on the Lower River Soar at Slash Lane, in Sileby, and the Mountsorrel to Sileby Road.
More rain is forecast for later today and tomorrow. Outbreaks of rain will spread across the Midlands this afternoon and will be heavy at times. It will remain mild with maximum temperatures of 12C. Tonight it will be overcast and windy with more rain. Tomorrow will continue to be cloudy with outbreaks of rain.
