Firefighters were called to Humberstone Road this morning after three vehicles collided.
The crash happened at about 6.50am.
A spokesman for the fire service said no one was trapped but five people were treated at the scene for their injuries.
Crews made the vehicles safe by disconnecting the engines and left the causalities in the hands of the ambulance services.
