A cooker fire severely damaged the kitchen of a home in Evington, Leicester last night.
Two fire crews from the city's eastern fire station and the Fire and Emergency Support Service vehicle, manned by the British Red Cross, went to Pevensey Avenue shortly after 10.30pm.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service say the blaze was started accidentally.
