Celebrity chef and restaurateur Marco Pierre White is to open a venue in Kegworth.
The Marco's New York Italian is expected to open at the Best Western Premier Yew Lodge Hotel, in Packington Hill, in April 2015 and will serve Marco's take on American-Italian food.
News on the restaurant's opening follows a deal between Black & White Franchising and the hotel's owner, who will run the new restaurant under a franchise agreement. Work to convert the existing restaurant and bar areas will start in the new year.
A spokesperson said: "Once open visitors will be able to choose from a selection of fresh pastas, steaks, seafood, burgers and handmade pizzas. The restaurant will replicate the hustle and bustle of a classic New York Italian restaurant, appealing to those looking for a relaxed, fun place to eat that has the added attraction of having the provenance of Marco Pierre White.
"Located just two miles from East Midlands Airport, Donington Park is also close by while those traveling by train can use East Midlands Parkway. Equidistant to Nottingham, Derby and Leicester, Loughborough is just down the A6."
Yvonne Hyde, hotel manager at the hotel said: "This announcement is great news and will strengthen the appeal of the hotel.

Black and White Franchising has partnered with Marco Pierre White to roll out two of his restaurant brands, Steakhouse Bar & Grill and Marco's New York Italian, with the Kegworth restaurant be the 15th venue to sign a franchise agreement.
