A woman was treated by paramedics after a flat fire in Sileby last night which was started deliberately.
Four fire crews, from Loughborough and Birstall, were called to Holmfield Road at 10.20pm.
Two firefighters wearing breathing equipment tackled the blaze, which severely damaged the hallway.
The Fire and Emergency Support Service vehicle was also called out.
A Leicestershire Police spokeswoman said: "We are investigating an incident of arson at a flat in Holmfield Road, Sileby at around 10.34pm last night. No-one was injured and the investigation is in its early stages."
