A bus carrying seven passengers was in collision with a van in the Northfields area of Leicester today.
One man, thought to be a passenger on the single-decker Arriva bus, was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not known.
A woman, also believed to be a passenger, was assessed at the scene by paramedics.
The collision involving the Hamilton service and a Fed Ex van happened shortly before 1.30pm at the junction of Hastings Road and Tailby Avenue.
Two fire crews attended the incident and helped make the two vehicles safe.
A Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "There were seven passengers on the bus.
"Two casualties, a male and a female were assessed by the ambulance service and the male was taken to hospital. Other passengers were assessed by the fire service."
