A man has been arrested after a teenager was indecently assaulted on a bus in Leicester.
The 16-year-old was sitting on a bus which was travelling in the Narborough Road area when a man sat next to her and touched her indecently.
The assault happened between 9.40am and 9.55am on Monday, October 8, on the number 50 Arriva bus travelling towards Leicester city centre.
A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assault and remains in police custody.
Detective Constable Miranda Edwards said: "This was obviously a distressing incident for the victim who has been left very upset by what happened.
"We would ask anyone who can recall witnessing anything in connection with the incident, to please contact us."
