East Midlands Airport was evacuated in a fire alert this morning.
Three fire crews from Loughborough and Shepshed responded to reports of smoke seen coming from an area of the airport at about 9.45am.
A spokesman for the airport said: "An automatic fire alarm went off, it was nothing serious.
"Everyone is back in now, it lasted about 30 minutes. Aircraft are being loaded and we're back to normal."
A Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the three crews had reached the airport but were not needed.
