The bedroom of a house was badly damaged by fire after a blaze broke out.
Firefighters were called out at 7.13pm yesterday to a house in Fisher Close, off Smithy Farm Road, Stoney Stanton.
A first floor rear bedroom was well ablaze when firefighters arrived at the scene. Two crews from Hinckley and one from Central station in Leicester put out the flames.
A fire service spokeswoman said the bedroom and part of the attic were severely damaged by fire.
It is believed the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
