A factory unit was evacuated after a fire broke out yesterday.
Staff at the unit in Samworth Way, off Leicester Road, Melton, were ushered out of the 100m by 50m building while firefighters tackled the blaze.
Two crews from Melton put out the fire after being called out at 3.37pm by staff at the unit.
A fire service spokeswoman said the fire, which caused the building to be smoke logged, was caused by workmen using welding equipment.
The building was evacuated from 3.36pm until 5.50pm.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
