Police are appealing for witnesses after a 70-year-old man was assaulted in Melton.
The incident took place at around 10am on Tuesday, April 29 at the town's cattle market, in Scalford Road.
The victim was walking near the main auction hall when he was involved in an altercation with the driver of a black car which was reversing.
When the victim alerted the driver that he was in the way, by tapping on the window, he was pushed to the ground.
PC Kev Marsh said: "The victim was not injured but was left badly shaken after being pushed to the ground by the driver of a black car.
"A 40-year-old man is helping us with our enquires but we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident."
