Kasper Schmeichel: Produced one tremendous save for Leicester City to deny Sam Vokes when the Burnley striker was clean through on goal. 7/10
Ritchie De Laet: Demonstrated what City had been missing when his forward forays in the first half added an extra dimension to City's attacking play. 7
Wes Morgan: Had to be strong to cope with the barrage of crosses into City's box in the second half. 7
Liam Moore: Returned to the side and looked assured in the first half but will be disappointed with Burnley's equaliser. 7
Paul Konchesky: Kept Michael Kightly quiet, although there was one heart-stopping moment when the winger went down under his challenge. 7
Anthony Knockaert: Exciting in the first half and looked every inch the match winner but he faded. 7
Danny Drinkwater: Was very influential in the midfield, especially in the second half when he launched attacks from deep with long-range passing. 7
Matty James: A steady and effective game on his return to the starting line-up. Got his foot in when needed. 7
Lloyd Dyer: City's biggest attacking threat. He set up chance after chance for his team-mates with some classic wing play. 8
David Nugent: Continued his outstanding scoring record against the Clarets and his overall game was much improved from the last two away games. 7
Jamie Vardy: Never let the Burnley back four settle. Worked his socks off but missed two good chances. 7• Follow live coverage of the Capital One Cup quarter-final match between Leicester City v Manchester City at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday, December 16, 2013
