New work starting this week:•Queens Road: Christmas Fair. Road closed between Clarendon Park Road and Victoria Park Road on Sunday only. Diversions in place. Bus service 44A will divert via London Road and Clarendon Park Road on Sunday only.•Cobden Street: carriageway resurfacing. Road closed until Wednesday (4th)
On-going works in the city:•A5460 Fosse Park: Overnight restrictions as required around the Asda island at Fosse Park.•Peacock Lane: road closed between New Street and Grey Friars. One-way order on New Street reversed to allow access to Peacock Lane from Friar Lane. Diversions in place. •St Nicholas Place, city centre: Jubilee Square construction works, also affecting St Nicholas Place link road, Carey's Close and Janet Setchfield Place. •Newarke Street: installation of new pedestrian crossings. Various restrictions as required between Oxford Street and Welford Place. •Pluto Close: new development. Road closed. •Wimbledon Street: construction work. Road closed at junction with Humberstone Road. Diversions in place. •Rutland Street: building works. Lane restrictions as required at junction with Charles Street.
