Fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled a blaze in a bathroom caused by an unattended candle last night.
The incident occurred in a detached house in Brabazon Road Oadby shortly after 9.20pm.
Crews contained the fire to the bathroom on the first floor and no-one was injured.
The bath was badly damaged and there was smoke damage on the first floor. No one was injured.
A spokes person for the fire service said the fire was caused by an unattended candle.
