The air ambulance flew a motorcyclist to hospital after his bike was involved in a collision with a car on the A47 Hinckley Road, Leicester Forest East at Braunstone crossroads this morning.
The collision happened at 8.29am and the city-bound A47 was closed. Leicestershire Police said the incident was "ongoing" at 9.50am.
The motorcyclist was flown to University Hospital Walsgrave, in Coventry.
