Two people have been killed in a light aircraft crash in Leicestershire.
The aircraft came down yesterday evening in fields off Fenn Lane, Fenny Drayton, near Hinckley.
Police said emergency services were called to the scene at about 6.45pm.
A force spokesman confirmed that two people on board the aircraft died at the scene.
Officers remained at the scene overnight.
The crash has been reported to the air accident investigation branch.
