Police have seized more than £13,000 from three people they believe are involved in criminal activities.
The seizures were ordered by a court earlier this month after officers applied for the cash to be confiscated under the Proceeds of Crime Act, legislation which enables courts to seize cash or assets if it can be established they are linked to crime.
The first case involved a 38-year-old man who was stopped with £10,500 in cash as he was passing through East Midlands Airport in February this year.
The second case was a 23-year-old man who was found in possession of £1,320 when he was arrested in July 2011.
He is currently being investigated for possession of class A drugs.
The third case involved £2,005 taken from a 35-year-old man from the site of an alleged cannabis factory in Humberstone Road, Leicester, in February last year.
He man was later charged with drugs offences but failed to appear at Leicester Crown Court. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.
Confiscated cash and the proceeds of the sale of goods are divided between Leicestershire Police and the Home Office and used to fund further crime-fighting work.
Paul Wenlock, head of the force's economic crime unit, said: "Once again we are pleased to be able to take crime-related money off members off the criminal community.
"This shows that we will use both civil and criminal powers to ensure you cannot profit from crime in Leicestershire."

Some confiscated goods are sold at auction through Leicestershire Police's eBay internet 'shop'.
