Police have revealed that a lorry driver died in a crash on the M6 near the Catthorpe interchange yesterday morning.
The collision occurred around 10.48am on the southbound carriageway of the M6 between junction 1 and the slip road to the A14 and involved three heavy goods vehicles and a car.
The driver of one of the lorries was pronounced dead at the scene. One person was taken to University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire. Their injuries were not believed to be life threatening.

Detective Sergeant Mark Watling, said: "We would like to thank those motorists who were unfortunately caught up in the congestion for their patience.
"The closure was necessary to allow for the vehicles to be recovered and officers to carry out a full investigation at the scene.
"We would urge anyone who was travelling along the M6 at the time to contact us if they witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it."
