Five more people have been charged with involvement in an attack on a curry house in Leicester.
Police announced today that five men – aged 22, 23, 24, 24 and 31 – have been charged with conspiracy to commit violent disorder at the Moghul Durbar restaurant in East Park Road, Spinney Hills, Leicester.
They are due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Friday, June 21.
A large group attacked staff and diners at the restaurant at 9pm on Monday, January 14.
Six people went to Leicester Royal Infirmary to be treated for their injuries.
Last month, seven men, from Derbyshire and Birmingham, were sentenced to a total of 14 years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit violent disorder in attacking the restaurant.
A 73-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the incident remains on police bail pending further inquiries.
