A 30-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a mum-of-two from Loughborough.
The man is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court tomorrow charged with the murder of Alexis Mary Durant.
Ms Durant, 42, was found dead at an address in Gallico Close, Loughborough, on Wednesday, February 20.
Police were called to the property by the ambulance service shortly after 8.10pm.
The man, who has not been named, was arrested following the incident and was subsequently charged after spending a number of weeks in hospital receiving treatment.
