A taxi driver was beaten and robbed by two passengers.
Police have released a CCTV image of two men they would like to trace in connection with the attack.
The victim picked up his two attackers in Loughborough town centre and, it is believed, was asked to head for the village of Wymeswold.
However, the two passengers turned violent when the car reached the village of Cotes, assaulting him and taking his cash and phone.
The driver was treated at Leicester Royal Infirmary for minor injuries.
The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday, February 2.
Today, police released a CCTV image of two men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
Detective Constable Jason Fell said: "I would ask people to take a moment to look at this image and see if you recognise the men in the CCTV image.
"We believe they could have information which will help with our inquiries."
