Leicester City's 2-0 defeat at Barnsley yesterday has led to plenty of online debate over the future of manager Nigel Pearson. Yesterday's result was the team's third defeat in a row and City have now picked up just two points from their last seven games. They have won just once in 11 games as their promotion hopes now hang in the balance. Online opinion has been divided and a poll running on this website asks "Should Leicester City stand by Nigel Pearson?" with 40% currently saying yes and 60% voting No. Plenty of people have been tweeting their views on the club's future. Craig Smith ‏@cmsmiggy tweeted: Warnock sacked. Wouldn't be surprised if Pearson joins him tomorrow morning. Not that I want him to but the players have let him down." Liam Coyne ‏@coyneliam is also pessimistic about the mananger's future and tweeted: "Think that's the end of Nigel Pearson's reign at lcfc it's a shame but 11 games with one win is simply not good enough." When asked if City should stand by Pearson MissRPerry_LCFC said: "I think they should, it time the players were shown some tough love." However, Phil Cawser ‏@philcawser tweets: "Think it's probably bye bye Pearson time." But @rjsscott said: "I think Pearson should stay to the end of the season. There is nobody out there who could do better in 6 games - review in June."
