Loughborough Magistrates' Court complex has been sold for just over £19 million.
The three-storey building has been bought from a private owner by Legal and General Property.
The building, in Pinfold Gate, is on a 35-year lease dating from December 2007, when it was completed.
Derek Gilby, senior fund manager at Legal and General Property, said the building provided the company with "a rare opportunity to access secure long dated, core public sector income, with annual increases".
